Craniosacral Therapy in San Juan, Puerto Rico

What Is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on technique that uses light touch on different areas of the body. It is designed to promote relaxation and overall well-being through a gentle and individualized approach.

At Cundeamor Natural Clinic, we offer Craniosacral Therapy for both adults and children, adapting each session to the individual needs and comfort of each person.

What Happens During a Craniosacral Therapy Session?

Craniosacral Therapy is generally performed while the person is lying down and fully clothed. Gentle hands-on techniques are used on different areas of the body, which may include the head, neck, spine, sacrum, and other areas, depending on the individual assessment.

The session is continuously adapted according to each person’s comfort and response.

3

Why Do People Seek Craniosacral Therapy?

Some people seek Craniosacral Therapy as part of their wellness routine to support relaxation, stress management, and relief of physical tension.

It may also be used as a complementary modality within an individualized wellness plan. We discuss your reasons for seeking care and your goals before beginning to determine whether this therapy may be appropriate for you.

4

Is Craniosacral Therapy the Same as Massage?

Not exactly. Although both involve hands-on techniques, Craniosacral Therapy generally uses a much lighter touch and does not involve the same manipulation of muscles and soft tissues commonly associated with massage therapy.

Clients typically remain fully clothed throughout the session.

5

Do You Offer Craniosacral Therapy for Infants and Children?

Yes. We offer Craniosacral Therapy sessions adapted for infants and children. Because pediatric needs differ from those of adults, the duration and approach are adjusted according to the child’s age, comfort, tolerance, and individual needs.

For infants, sessions can include breaks and be adapted around feeding, movement, and the need for contact with a parent or caregiver.

6

How Many Craniosacral Therapy Sessions Are Recommended?

The number of sessions depends on the reason for the visit, age, individual needs, and response to the therapy. Some people choose occasional sessions as part of their wellness routine, while others may benefit from follow-up sessions.

After the initial session, we can discuss whether additional sessions may be appropriate based on your individual goals and response.
